# Ban Appeals

## APPEALING A BAN

If you've been banned from the Rogue Soldiers' servers and believe the ban was issued as an error, or if you have information that could change the decision, you can appeal the decision by going to our community Discord server. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to open a ticket and submit an appeal.

Note: Staff reserve the right to accept or decline any ban appeal they see fit. Suppose you believe that their action after an appeal was unfair or wrong. You can contact senior management through the appropriate channels for a final review.

1. **Discord Server:** To begin the appeal process, join our Discord server [here](https://discord.gg/RSClan).
2. **Create a Ban Appeal Ticket:** Navigate to the [`#contact-staff`](https://discord.com/channels/1134123338734764072/1218201665497333771) channel, and follow the provided instructions to create a ban appeal ticket. You will need to include:
   * Your in-game/Discord name.
   * The reason you were banned (as provided during the ban).
   * A brief explanation of why you believe the ban should be reconsidered.
3. **Ticket Claimed by a Moderator:** Once your ticket is submitted, a moderator will claim it and begin the review process. The moderator will review the details of your ban, as well as any provided evidence or logs.
4. **Discussion with the Moderator:** The moderator may discuss the circumstances surrounding the ban with you for clarification. This is your opportunity to explain your situation and provide any additional context that may help in the review process.
5. **Moderator Review & Escalation (if necessary):** The moderator handling your case will either:
   * Make a decision regarding your appeal based on the evidence and discussion.
   * Escalate the issue to more senior staff members if further review is necessary.
6. **Do Not Escalate the Issue Yourself:** Please allow the moderator or senior staff to handle your appeal appropriately. You should not escalate the issue unless the moderator handling your case is being unprofessional. If you believe this to be the case, you may request that a senior staff member take over your ticket by respectfully notifying the team.
7. **Decision:** Once a decision is made, you will be made aware of the decision. This decision is **FINAL**. If you feel like the decision was unfair or wrong. You can contact senior management through the appropriate channels for a final review.
