# Punishment Guidelines

When a community member breaches our guidelines, we take action to maintain a safe and respectful environment. The actions we take depend on the severity and nature of the breach and are determined at the discretion of our staff team.

It’s important to note that any activity related to VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) or in-game behaviour that is not in Text Chat can only be acted upon if there is sufficient evidence. This ensures that we make fair and accurate decisions based on concrete information, which helps us to uphold our standards and maintain trust within the community. Therefore, members are encouraged to report incidents with clear evidence, such as screenshots, recordings, or other relevant materials, so that our team can appropriately evaluate and address the situation.

Below are the ban guidelines for BattleBit Remastered. This does not include any previous actions that a staff member may take. These are the escalations which involve removing a user's access to our servers.

{% hint style="info" %}
Staff members reserve the right to take the relevant action they see fit, and can skip certain steps to achieve an appropriate action. These are reviewed on an individual case-by-case situation.
